Here are a few ways that Caledon employees have made a difference to our community:

February 2011 "Caledon Cares" donation was made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.  Every 7 minutes in Canada, someone dies from heart disease or stroke. Our Export Sales Manager Gerry Chin Pang has had a very sobering experience with the disease and we want to share it with you.

In October of 2010 with your help, Caledon donated approximately $ 1100.00 to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.  Each year thousands of Canadians are touched by breast cancer. It not only impacts the individuals living with the disease, but their familites friends and loved ones.  Our very own Sherrill  was touched by the disease and we share her story with you.

Every year Caledon employees generously donate to the United Way of Canada.  With a generous "matching" formula, based on employee contributions, Caledon contributes $ 1 for every $ 1 donated by employees.  In the past 15 years we have donated over $ 43,000.00 to help those less fortunate in our community.

Each year Caledon Laboratories makes an annual donation to the Georgetown Hospital Foundation.  In late 2009 Caledon donated $10,000.  The donation  is earmarked for the purchase of two ultrasound machines that cost $180,000 apiece.

Each year at the Caledon Christmas Party, Caledon employees raise funds for various local charities with raffles and draws the proceeds of which go to organizations such as the local food bank.
