Caledon Award
The Caledon Award recognizes individuals in Canada who have made significant contributions to the field of trace organic analysis.
The award is sponsored by Caledon, but the selection of winners is determined by the organizers of two separate Canadian scientific symposia, the EnviroAnalysis Conference, and the Western Canada Trace Organic Workshop.
There is a single nomination process, and the criteria for selection is the same each year. Only the administration and presentation alternates between the two conferences.
The 2009 Caledon Award was presented to David A. Humphries at the 44th Annual Western Canada Trace Organic Workshop in Winnipeg, MB on May 5th , 2009.
