Florisil® is a higly selective adsorbent which has found extensive use in preparative and analytical chromatography. It is an extremely white, hard granular or powdered magnesia-silica gel. •Molecular Sieve Molecular Sieves are crystalline aluminum silicate zeolites that are used for the separation of molecules by physical adsorption. Molecular Sieves separate molecules based on size and configuration. They also adsorb preferentially based on polarity or degree of unsaturation. •Silica Gel Silica Gel is a highly porous, amorphous silicic acid in the form of hard, opalescent particles. It is prepared by precipitating sodium silicate with sulphuric acid. Caledon supplies 60 angstrom silica gel in a variety of particle size ranges.
