GFS Chemicals, Inc.

Since 1928, GFS has been the single source for a wide variety of organic and inorganic chemicals. Formed originally as a response to the demand for perchlorate salts, GFS has grown to the point where it now supplies over 4,000 high quality products to laboratories the world over.

The GFS chemical manufacturing program features three core technologies:

  • Organic Specialty Intermediates
    • Farchan Acetylenics and Olefinics
    • Heteroaromatic componds
    • Metals and derivatives
  • Inorganic Chemicals and Catalysts
    • Perchloric Acids and salts
    • Rare earth salts and solutions
  • Analytical Reagent and Solutions
    • Karl Fischer Reagents
    • Calibration Standards

GFS's strength has been their ability to identify and adapt to growing needs.  Recently, GFS moved into the world of submicron polymer technology by acquiring a line of  calibration standards.  These standards known as AMCO Clear, can be used in many types of optical or visual calibration processes.

AMCO Clear products for water testing and turbitidy offer:

  • Certification by EPA Federal Registry, ASTM, ASBC and APHA
  • Long-term stability
  • Ease of application
  • Accuracy to +/- 1%
  • Non-toxic character
